i was lookin at the mosin's on aimsurplus and they have two versions which one would be a better buy?

I agree the Mosin's are cheap and fun to shoot, but if you are new to shooting rifles, I would stick with the suggestions for a smaller caliber. Those Mosin's will half knock your shoulder off.
