I've heard very good things about this class and the instructor, but have no first-hand knowledge. Seems that a class entitled "Armed Movement in Structures" would be helpful in answering your (now clearer) question.. Hopefully I'm ok cross posting this from another forum. I have no relationship with this class or the instructor.

Students completing this 20 hour course will leave with skills that allow them to understand and deal with the problems that they may face in a residential or commercial building containing armed bad guys.

The ShivWorks Armed Movement in Structures (AMIS) course is a twenty hour block of instruction focusing on negotiating movement problems within structures with limited or no resources. Realizing that moving through a structure that contains armed hostiles, perhaps by one’s self, is probably the most dangerous task one can undertake, the best options for winning a confrontation are presented with the qualification that there is no safe way to do this.

I work a couple of buildings over from you. I didn't realize this was an old post and thought this was about the cop car that was smashed up on Imperial Valley yesterday.

I guess that one remains a mystery!

Loop me in for lunch. Ill certainly try to make it. I work at 2 Northpoint Drive and the guns point area was a driving factor in getting my CHL. That and having my home, vehicle, and garage broken into within a year's time.
