I too doubt her veracity.

However, there's time for her to come forward - if she doesn't, our doubt will be confirmed...
Are you saying, Abraham, that if she does not testify on the present Foreign Relations Committee schedule because she is obeying her doctor's orders, then your doubt will be confirmed?

Anywhere else I would have to say that I must be reading that wrong, but on this forum I am accustomed to seeing such grossly faulty syllogisms.

Jim
From what I've heard, the problem isn't that she isn't testifying because her doctor told her not to, it's that she's continuing to do her other duties and therefore can't really be injured to a degree that would prevent her from testifying. Or at least that's how I understand the situation. It's entirely possible I've missed something... likely, even, given the amount of attention I've been giving this story.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

Jim,

If she continues her Benghazi evasion, if you will, with her oh so convenient/timely medical excuses, then all doubt regarding her veracity will be confirmed.

Have you read Peggy Noonan's, "The Case Against Hillary Clinton"?

It's illuminating and will help you understand what this charlatan is all about.

That depends on how you define "veracity". ;-)

This convenient concussion is so thinly veiled as to be laughable. Laugh-out-loudable.
Unfortunately, it seems most folks just don't want to believe what's happening in front of their faces.
Further insults from the O administration. Not any kind of surprise, just insulting and sad that so many are so fooled.

Once again, Abraham, if you are still around, I truly enjoyed this mature discussion with you, and I wanted you to know that before others took it in the direction that near all discussions here go.

But I took a break for lunch, and, as you can see, I was too late expressing my pleasure at our mano a mano.

I hope Hillary gets a long and well-deserved rest. She has been working in the interest of her country too hard -- harder than any man I have seen in that office, and I have seen a bunch of them there, and in fact worked for several of them, both Democrat and Republican.

I might as well dispose of any doubts out there right now, although I would be surprised if there were any doubts. I do pray that Hillary's health permits her to be a candidate for the presidency in 2016. One of my great disappointments is my support of Obama instead of her for the Democratic candidate in 2008. He said many good things before his nomination, but delivered on very few of them.

Two months ago, many I know were hoping both she and her boss would get a well deserved rest.

Abe,

If you are implying that anything I said above about Hillary was tongue-in-cheek, I must most respectfully disabuse you of that notion. I suspect that I for the first time ever agreed with something said by Newt Gingrich: "It's hers if she wants it in 2016."

Hillary's left wing concussion conspiracy continues.

"Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been admitted to a hospital in New York with blood clot stemming from a concussion she sustained earlier this month." - Fox News

As much as I hated to do so, I found a media source which might avoid accusations that I made up this story.

That little exchange in the posts above just confused me. Unfortunately that is nothing new.

Coastie, are you being sarcastic or are you stating that you do indeed support Ms. Clinton in her quest for the Presidency should she decide to pursue it in the future?

I don't understand why this surprises anyone.......
I saw it coming from the beginning, I just didn't figure that they would actually try to pull it off........

How stupid do they think the American People are? How stupid do they think Congress Committees are?

I thought it would be apparent to this audience that I was being sarcastic, Purplehood.

To answer your second question, one of the greatest regrets of this old man is that he worked so hard for the nomination and election of President Obama the first time around, favoring him over Hillary Clinton. I believed Obama would be as progressive as he held himself out to be before and during the campaign. WRONG. :cryin

My next regret was having to vote for Obama the second time around. I had no choice, particularly given his opponent.

I am afraid that my next great regret, should I live that long, will be to see Hillary's health deny her the Democratic nomination to be our next president.

I am sure that you are familiar with the discussion she had with her husband after he was elected president. Bill: "Aren't you glad you married me, Hillary, rather than that plumber you were dating before I came along?" Hillary: "If I had married that plumber, Bill, he would be the president right now."

Jim
Ummm, no. Not to this portion of the audience. That is why I asked. I would prefer not to be confused and simply operate on a false assumption.

Thank you for the clarification, Sir.

Its not that they think the American people to be stupid, exactly...though I do believe they think the average American to be of lower intellectual capacity compared to themselves. Its just that anyone who dares challenge whatever the bulk of the mainstream media say (which is a regurgitation of whatever the current administration says) is immediately labeled as a kook, has some choice words like "teabilly", etc. thrown at them, and is summarily dismissed.
