Reliability, durability and proven performance. Some mags are just better than others.
That's not to say other brands are junk. I've got a mix of many brands and they're all good for going to the range.
However, I am looking forward to getting the white follower Israeli mags, just because I've never seen any.

I prefer Lancer bc of the metal feeding lips

There's no

about it. That's just unethical. I wouldn't be surprised if that was illegal in some states. That information should be given upfront. Their Terms and Conditions doesn't even mention the cancellation fee. If you point that out, and if they had any brains, they should give you your full money back and not charge you any fees.
Well, it was on the home page...so it is partially my fault. I just clicked the links posted in this thread, and ordered. I'm thinking the delay is for the back ordered mags (which appear to be the black ones at the moment).

My personal experience the metal mags I have will not chamber a round when completely full. I can only load 27 in these while the PMags I have are reliable with 30 rounds in them.
Anyone else have this issue with the metal mags?

They're reliable and strong as all get-out; there are videos on Youtube and the like showing trucks being driven over them.
This video was made by active duty troops in Iraq, testing the PMAG to destruction, compared to the standard GI issue steel magazine, and the HK magazine. The PMAG
can be destroyed, but it takes a whole lot more to do it. They even took a magazine with 29 rounds in it and filled it with Iraqi sand, and then tried to cycle the rounds out of the mag into an ammo can using a Maglula tool. There was
some jamming, but it was still serviceable and the jams were easily cleared. The tester declared that, in an emergency, the magazine could still be used. Neither the GI nor the HK mags would stand up to sand that way.

Lesson learned. Don't drive over your magazines with a military issue Hummer.
