FWIW, the NRA "insurance" is a reimbursment type program. You pay out front, then if you win, they reimburse with some stipulations I believe.
This is correct. Texas law does not allow one to insure their intentional unlawful acts. This means no insurance company can issue a "traditional" policy that would provide counsel.

Thanks. That make sense, and that is kind of the insurance I am looking for on top of liability. I just love writing my insurance company checks.
