CYPHUR, I do know what you mean. Did you see the video?
I'm glad I got the Smart Carry. It is no problem to use. As a NEW-B I have been very concerned with PRINTING. The Smart Carry solved MY problem.
Last Saturday night I played pedal steel guitar at a local community jamboree. I sat on a stool for 5 HOURS , not getting up once, and had my Smart Carry on with my N.A. A. Guardian and an extra mag.
Not a problem at all.
Give it a try or at least look at the Video, pictures or comments at Charlies' web site;

May I suggest that you dress around your gun.
Here's my take on it.

YMMV one heck of a lot.

I carry a full size S&W 9mm in a OWB Aikens style holster with a cant. I wear Polo's and Hawaiian shirts. No problem here. Find what works for you. Yes my shirts are a little over sized.

I'm seriously considering a shoulder holster, so i checked out what galco has to offer. Not much for my gun. It looks like I'm limited to the Classic Lite (
http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp?Pr ... &GunID=168), the Miami Classic (
http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp?Pr ... &GunID=168), or the Executive Shoulder Hoster (
http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp?Pr ... &GunID=168). Anyone had any experience with these? Also, how does that last one work? I can't seem to figure out where that suspender goes. It's awful expensive but so pretty, and it seems it would serve my purposes well, though no place for extra mags. I think an IWB mag pouch would probably work better for me anyway. If it's any help, this is what I look like and how I typically dress (but substitute jeans for the BDUs and usually my shirt is not quite so unkempt, with the bottom 2 or 3 buttons done up):

Call Mark at Dallas Public Safety Supply. They're one of the largest Galco stocking dealers, and Mark mixed and matched different Galco parts to create a superb two-gun rig for me. I'm sure they could do just about anything you could want, and do the custom fitting as well (there's more to fitting a shoulder rig than meets the eye).

That Kimber 3 inch disappears on me as well and I am using an OWB and an untucked tee shirt or polo shirt. In a weekend, it has become my primary carry weapon.
Glad its working out for you!

You are large enough through the chest.. to conceal anything you want in a horizontal shoulder rig. Your PPK is not very large....and should absolutely disappear in a properly fitted holster.
I have about 10 years experience wearing the Miami Classic...and it suits me well, but it is too much holster for a smaller pistol (PPK and others) IMO.
I have no experience with the other holsters you posted links to, but either would be O.K. I'm sure. The "executive" would be very light, but I view it as more of a dress holster (formal/coat & tie) . You wear it by slipping your weak side arm through the the strap, then bring the suspender part over your opposite shoulder and clip to the front of your pant or belt. It gives the appearance that one is wearing a nice pair of dress suspenders (although only one side would ever be visible).
My choice for your pistol would be this one:
http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp?Pr ... &GunID=168
It has wide straps, is light weight, and allows for carrying one extra mag.
When adjusted so that the pistol and mag. are both fairly high (about 4-5 inches below the armpit), it should stay put very well, would not require tie downs, and would never be seen even under an open shirt.
NOTE: I am not trying to "push" shoulder holsters here, I wear one because of an injury, and for many people they are just the ticket, but there are other good modes of carry as well. You might try several.
Good luck to you, and carry responsibly.
Flint.

The only downside of the Classic Lite is that it's only available in a natural finish. Most of the clothes I wear are darker in color, so that tan is going to contrast with my clothes significantly, making it more visible. I'd rather get something that comes in black.

Just take it down to Capitol Saddlery.....and have them dye it. If you happen to see Bobby Steiner, tell him "Mayo" said hi.

Wow, that's less than a mile from where I live. Sounds like a good plan. I think I'll give that a try come payday.

I'm a new-B CHL holder myself, heck I'm barely 21.
Anyhow, I usually carry a full size Kimber in a Galco IWB. The key is nice big baggy clothing. 5.11 and Sigtac make good stuff, but its pricey. Vests work too, if that is your thing. I've got some light short sleeve shirts that are comfortable enough for the June/July oven, and still conceal nicely. They make me look nice and upstanding too.

Off topic a bit but everytime I see a pic posted on here I think back to Longtooth's Christmas tree. Those photoshop pros keep me scared to post any kind of pic.
