I just yesterday picked up a 100 round KCI mag from a fellow board member. I was so excited I went home last night and loaded it up with 100 rounds of .223 then I sat there and thought that's a WHOLE Box of .223 I can't go just shoot all of that at once. It wouldn't take long and I even have 600 rounds in reserve. Then I thought I am going to have to get a brass catcher to use with this thing. Now I almost regret buying it because I don't have the ammo to feed it. So I took some pictures and then unloaded it and out it up in the gun closet

No Guilt. The only feeling I experience when shooting is exhilaration...IDPA, 3-gun, skeet...

I felt bad losing that much ammo, but it sure was fun. I don't know how many of y'all are close to Brenham, Tx but there's a place there that has cases and cases and cases of AR ammo.
If you're talking about AmmunitionToGo.com in Brenham, they are showing ZERO .223/5.56 in stock on their website. They ran out a while ago.
The shop is called Independence Firearms. Ammo prices are pretty good. AR-15 prices start at a little over MSRP to outlandish depending on the gun, but they are the only people I've found that carry a variety of manufacturers and actually have them in stock.
