I'm not against open carry. I'm just against idiots that video tape themselves open carrying and then posting it on youtube.

We have all gotten the emails with pictures of the "people of walmart". I would just as soon people openly carrying did not show up in those

To me he is no different than the guy walking up and down the street waiting for someone to call the cops about AMWAG so he can video his 2A police encounter.

Wal-Mart will do what's best for Wal-Mart. After years of selling hunting rifles, shotguns, & ammo in their stores, they stopped in 2006. But when the Great Recession hit & even the great Oz was feeling the pain, guns & ammo went back on the shelves. Taking a stand on an issue means potentially alienating half of your customers, so Wal-Mart will promptly make it a point to not take a stand when it can be avoided. Using the "we'll do whatever the locality permits" method keeps them from having to make an actual decision.
