Yes, the man/child had the right to free speech, and a legal position to open carry.. While both are legal rights, they do not absolve him from the very real ramifications of his actions.
His intent was clear, find a victim and start a confrontation.
In the end, that is all that was accomplished, if his agenda was education of open carry laws, or some strange way of furthering 2A rights.. he missed the mark IMHO.
In fact, he did just the opposite, further marking citizens wishing to carry a firearm IAW the 2nd Amendment as nut jobs, just antagonists with an agenda.
