Thanks for the post. Another company I won't support. Individual LEO's are not the problem and often use personal equipment to protect the public.

Not one of these companies is stopping the sale to private citizens. And, if as you state, use their personal equipment, are just fine purchasing. I applaud a company that will not sell to the very government that is messing with our 2A rights.

Jumping Frog, I have looked through all my mail and cannot find anything where MagPul said they are stopping sales to government. Could you point me to where you saw it? Thanks....

That depends on where you are. In Texas, that is most likely closer to true. Here in California, it is much less so.

In Texas, officers are much more likely to view gun owners, CHLs in particular, as allies and aids in proper law enforcement, whereas here they are decidedly not. As in all things human, there are exceptions each way, of course.

Wilson will sell gladly to everyone in Texas who is eligible. Because of the pervasive backwardness of the idiotic gun laws here, and fixing to get far worse, gun manufacturers ought to slam the door shut on these fascist buffoons.

Some years ago, there was some hub-bub in Tijuana resulting for a time in Tijuana officers armed only with sling shots. Maybe a similar prospect would motivate the Legislature to come to its senses, if I can assume facts not in evidence.

Im willing to bet that the LEO agencies in those states will still get what they want - just through a distributor ....
