Hey,
The Poll thing will only let you mark one . I always have a knife in my pocket and most of the time I have FOX spray. The thing that bothers me is EVERY time I take the FOX out the little trigger button is in the fire position. I move it over to the safety position, next time I see it, it's in the fire position. I hope I don't squat down or bend over and hear a little hissss.. some time. I might have to get one of those key ring things also.
TASER, I don't know. Do the police even like them? They are bigger than most of the guns I carry and you only get one shot. I don't think I'll mess with one. Slow day for me today too.

Here's an interesting thought...
How many of you carry a "cell phone"???
Think about it...
(911 operator) "911, what is your emergency???"
(Stevie-D) "I just busted a cap in dis guys..." (just kidding)

I just got my own the other day. It's certainly on the good to have list.
It's even got an onboard GPS for the cell phone company and the governemnt to track me. So I don't run off I guess

I carry at least one reload, two knives (one for utility and one for 'other'), a cell phone and if it is dark or going to be while I am out, a flashlight. I would also be interested in some Fox OC but haven't made the effort yet to get any. My 'other' knife is not used as a utility knife so it stays sharp. Sometimes I carry a New York reload. It depends on where I have ot go and time of day.
Be safe and be ready!

I went by my store yesterday to buy a few boxes for this weekends shoot...
Did a "oh BTW" with the counter guy and asked about the Fox OC spray...
He did one of those "sidesteps" and told me that stuff is LEO only?!?!?!
I told him I asked about it about a month ago and they said about the same thing, but the keychain (civilian quantity) was available...I said thats all I want...
They hem and hawed about it and showed me this "other" stuff, which I know is probably ok...But its the principle of the thing...
He told me the owner made that decision, and that I told them I would discuss this online with a few people I know...
I'm almost don't want to name the outlet where I went yesterday, because I think for the most part they do a good job in peddling their wares...Sometimes they come across a bit anal, and voice disdain to the commoners, about certain things...So I mostly go their for the products...Not their personnel...
Too bad, its a decent supplier of equipment...
Still trying to figure this all out I suppose...

Was it the store near the pottery place in Webster where I go when the wife drags me along to look at decorations and stuff?

My son and I went there last Xmas, and bought two Mossberg shotguns. They really had a good deal.
We shot the breeze while we filled out the papers, took awhile cause there were a couple of really pretty females asking female type questions about some handguns. The guys were tripping all over their selves to wait on the ladies. After we signed the forms and they boxed up the shootguns, the ladies were still there, and the guys said "OK you two are good to go!". Well, my son and I walked out to the truck with shotguns in hand and not a dime has changed hands. We realized, of course, and went back in and paid. We walked back in with the shootguns and they looked up and said "Something wrong?" and I told them they needed some money.

Do they rub you wrong sometimes too???
I went in there, just after 9-11 to buy a case of .223
And I got this over the whole store comment, "All these people wanting to buy stuff to kill other people!" type comment...
There were about 7-8 customers in there for various stuff, and heard this comment???
Kinda put me off going there till they moved to the "new" location...
If it wasn't for the wide variety and good products they sell, I wouldn't go there...
But thats the damned if I do, and damned if I don't quandry we have in our part of town...
