I just got off the phone with crossbreed. My money showed up today. They will make me a new one with seconds horsehide I guess and send it. She said it should take a few days so hopefully it will still get here about the same time as my license.
I was a bit upset yesterday but have calmed down a good bit now. Thanks for letting me vent.

They are a good company. Like any good company, mistakes happen. It is how they deal with the mistakes that matters most. Glad to read they are taking care of you.

I bought a a nice holster on Amazon for $35. The maker is Shepherd Leather. You can see what they carry here:
http://www.shepherdleather.com/. It works great for me. Not much different from Crossbreed except the price

I was going to post this as well. I don't have my plastic yet, but wearing my full size m&p around the house is comfy. My kids can't even tell I'm wearing it.

Since I got my xds a few weeks ago I've been carrying using the holster that came with the gun, OWB. It's been fine as a temporarily solution until my whitehat gets here. Maybe it will work for you.

you can practice in your car too. took me a few weeks to find out that 3 o'clock is the most comfortable sitting and standing.
