Sat thru a meeting last night - really nice officer giving presentation, but got a funny look on his face when someone asked about 30.06 signs. Never did answer the question.

Lol believe me i did NOT want to be in there. Im sure i was the only person with a pant size ocer 32 (i wear a 40). I was there because i had to lead a bible study and thats where the group wanted to meet. After seeing a single cookie for $1.29 i made it clear that i will never place foot inside that hell hole full of liberals again.

If you're a teenager: Place a scruffy, knitted cap completely over your head and ears, wear long sleeve flannel shirts, sloppy, long pants and dirty, beat to smithereens tennis shoes - in the Texas summer heat - and you'll fit right in.

If middle aged and balding: Don't hesitate to wear a pony tail. Or a Kangol beret, which looks especially stylish on pasty, middle aged white guys.

Oh yeah, though you'll look trendily retro (well, sorta, kinda, but dress like stated and it'll be enough to pass the dilettante-hippy/cool guy look) but, bring lots of moolah, cuz this store wants to pretend that it and it's customers are part of the 99%.

Think: A variation on limousine liberal...these folks have plenty of money and pretense.

However, if you can find a parking spot next to the Range Rovers, Mercedes, Lexus, Jags, etc., it's worth a trip inside for the sheer, laugh out loud, live action show of liberals attempting to out do one another.

Probably not. Security personnel generally are not in a position to set policy. Besides, the OP only asked about "carrying". The LEO could have been thinking in terms of carrying an anti aircraft gun or carrying on a conversation centered on conservative principles....

BTW if you're a frequent customer of "Whole Paycheck" you'll eventually have to sell all of your stuff to keep shopping there, so carrying a concealed handgun would soon become a moot point.

If you're a foodie, sometimes Whole Foods is the only convenient place to buy an unusual ingredient. I don't frequent the place, but it is what it is. It employs people, pays taxes, pursues a corporate philosophy that is ecologically inclined. Good for them.

Oh.. and.. when I lived in NC, our local Whole Foods had the best beer selection in town. Pricey, but for an occasional treat.

In TX, unless the Whole Foods has a 30.06 sign, carry away.
Hard to imagine that a Whole Foods could serve enough beer and wine for on site consumption to be "Red 51%". Maybe if their restaurant was licensed separately the restaurant could be Red-51, but even that seems unlikely.

The meat at Whole Foods tastes much better and they have a Bratwurst that is just killer. Real Bratwurst, too, not the junk posing as Bratwurst you usually find.
