It was when I drove through it. At least I think that's what happened... It was all over so fast that I never was quite sure... It might've just been a bird or something alongside the road... "rlol"

(Seriously, though, it's been dark every time I remember going through there)

Depends how you go through Brownwood, most people never go through, but just skirt the edge, through Early and Brownwood and Bangs I stop at Brownwood park and fish or stretch my legs every 6 months and when I can I stop at Underwoods.

Brownwood is a HUGE city compared to say ... Burnet, where something is wrong if a trip to the Grocery Store, city Municipal Offices to make utility payments, go to the Bank, and Post office then go to the Elementary school, middle school , high school, train depot and Wild West show, and Chamber of Commerce and visitor center, and any restaurant and back home puts more than 3 miles on your car/skateboard/bike/scooter. You can fill up gas in my 12 gallon tank in December, March, June and September usually- and 1,000 miles per year includes a 600 mile round trip to Lubbock. Brownwood is way bigger than Lampassas too (a big town 20 miles North of Burnet)

Burnet is about 65 Miles from where the Nuclear Blast in Austin would be so ... pray the wind direction is right on the 7 lakes (NOT-US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS lake, but the LCRA lakes), else I'd be eatin' BarbeQue in Brownwood.

Besides for the nukes, NK has the ability to easily strike Seoul (with around 10K US citizens) and the 28K US troops we have near the DMZ. NK has been "digging in" ever since the cease-fire armistice. We don't do anything because all hell would break loose. Don't underestimate NKs ability to crate havoc. People thought Iraq and Afghanistan were going to be a "cake walk". IMO winning a "war" with NK would be much more difficult. While we are bombing rice patties, they will be raining artillery/missiles on Seoul. And since we have a mutual defense treaty with SK.....

It's hard to keep track... Is this another bluff, or did things just get warm over there?

That makes more sense. Even if their missiles won't reach, Boston has a harbor.

I'm pretty sure that if there was any real threat of war at that level, KJU et al would mysteriously fall ill....

He's gonna need a bigger rubber band if he's aiming for Boston...

You know, I always support the efforts to keep Austin weird...But whe you threaten my wayward kinsmen with things like this, I take great offense, regardless of the probability of success of the current plan...

So I offer a counter proposal...

Kim Jr., scrap those technological improbabilities and just go for a conventional land invasion of Texas...

I am sure we can accomodate you and your best...It would be more of a fair fight...[cough, gag, spit, urp]

'scuse me...
