Or this guy had no intentions of ever sending in those CHL-100's, taking their money, and disappearing like some of those shady roofers after a big storm.
The focal point for Texas firearms information and discussions

Especially right now, with so many CHL classes full, folks buying guns, etc. The person in question puts up a quick webpage to look legit, then pulls what you described...and bingo, instant payday...except their own firearms ignorance gets the best of them. Now that would be ironic.C-dub wrote:Or this guy had no intentions of ever sending in those CHL-100's, taking their money, and disappearing like some of those shady roofers after a big storm.
One of my students lives up that way. The "instructor" is rumored to be an NRA certified Basic Pistol Instructor providing Florida CHL classes.Keith B wrote:I will bet this instructor is doing certification for an out of state license and is not a Texas CHL instructor.
As I thought..... I hope he loses his NRA certification if this is the case.2firfun50 wrote:One of my students lives up that way. What can you do to "make it so."Keith B wrote: I hope he loses his NRA certification if this is the case.
If you were to tear down your berm, you could use Cabella's as a backstop...Crossfire wrote:Yeah, but that's me. AND, we have a backstop.
So, I guess both of those are overkill!
Not really, the truck stop is more in the line of fire. That way we would have moving targets at the big rigs. I might actually be able to hit something that large!sjfcontrol wrote:If you were to tear down your berm, you could use Cabella's as a backstop...Crossfire wrote:Yeah, but that's me. It doesn't seem he's certified by Florida so you would have to contact the NRA training department about his certification with the NRA.JALLEN wrote:What can you do to "make it so."Keith B wrote: I hope he loses his NRA certification if this is the case.
