Little would they suspect that I actually know how to do, and have considerable experience with, a genuine Texas b-b-q, mesquite, brisket, chicken, sausage, potato salad, beans, peach cobbler, Blue Bell, the whole shebang!

Trouble is if my doctor knew I was eating like that, it would kill her!

The other week, my doctor told me to give up meals. :nono:

Every edible substance was placed in one of two groups, things I like, and things I don't like. I can eat all I want of the things I don't like, and none of the ones I do. B-B-Q is definitely in the latter category.

JALLEN-

As a recent refugee from California myself, I want to welcome you home. Glad you're able to finally "get gone" as it were.

Welcome to Texas! :txflag:

Welcome to GODs country--if you can't find any mags for your 226 I have a couple of Pro Mag 15 rounders new that Midway sent by mistake awhile back. The Pro Mag .40 work fine in my SIG DAK 226. Let me know and I will fix you up.\

Now I have to go find some Blue Bell :biggrinjester:

Well, welcome from just up the road in Marble Falls. When you get settled, let me know and we'll go bust some caps. If you're game we might whack a few wild hogs.

Every so often we need to set aside the things that are good for us in favor of the things that are just plain good.

I've used both the Sig mags and the Mec-Gar mags and haven't had any problems with either.

Congrats on escaping Kaliphornia.

Thanks.

I'm getting quite a bit of interest in the genuine Sig 10 round mags here. Making the change should not be a problem.

We're going to be terrorizing real estate brokers in the hill country up Hwy 281, SW of Austin and N of San Antonio next week, testing the truth of The Old Rancher's long ago observation that "a man with cash is welcome in a lot of places!"
