For me, the 357 seems to have less drop down range. I realize I'm probably not going to be taking shots at 75yds, but accuracy does count. My double and triple taps are also closer grouped.

Yes sorry, I didn't mean for that to be vague, my preference is only from my point of view. At a lot of these training classes I do come across people that fire other calibers just as effectively. It has only been my observation that the vast majority of shooters, when stepping down to a 9mm in a platform which suits them tend to be far more accurate & fast under pressure. The real point I failed to clearly get across is that I always see these threads of people swapping or changing calibers and I am wondering if they are just searching for a solution to a problem that really isn't there.

I don't think it's a problem-solving exercise. More the idea of being able to shoot different calibers from the same pistol. That way you could train with cheaper ammo yet still be able to carry a heavier load - all in the same gun so no grip adjustment or trigger pull adjustment is necessary.

There very well May be some of those. I love the. 40, I've that over 600 rounds through this gun, and it's only been 7 months. I just like the versatility. I'm thinking about also dropping it down to a 9mm. The switch literally takes 5 seconds.
