I just wish people would learn the difference between "Racist" and "Bigotry" Nothing about this thread points to racism, but it does suggest bigotry. Just sayin.....

No, it points to how the media takes every available opportunity to twist any and every story in subtle ways, so that the narrative of whatever the story is fits better into a liberal-progressive viewpoint of how things should be, not how things are. As a for instance having nothing to do with this trial, in the political left's overall viewpoint, BHO and the auto "bailouts" SAVED DETROIT...even though it is blatantly obvious that nothing is further from the truth.

Eeeewwwww......I had heard of lean in this case before, but the thought if it was just yuck. I remember as a kid we prayed our coughs stopped with triaminc because the robitussin was awful. What people won't do to get high.
For heavens sakes get a quart of coconut rum I am sure it would be just as effective and taste a ton better.

I feel like a very old guy having to ask this but what the heck is this all about? Could someone please enlighten me as to exactly what is done with these ingredients to make it a drug? This has got to be the weirdest thing I have ever heard.
Sorry... Jumped the gun! I am watching the video now. I might head to Walgreens here in a few... I will let y'all know.

My father, a lifetime anglophile, used to give us "treacle" for coughs when we were kids. This stuff tasted vile, and actually had no relation to the Treacle that one might have encountered along the line. My father's "treacle" was a mixture of heroin and molasses with some Sulfer mixed in. I was told the horrible taste was to keep people from becoming addicted to it. He obtained his supply of this stuff while he was in England during WWII and still had some left up into the 60s.
I sure would never have become addicted to it, just the taste was enough for a kid to fight a cough so one would not have to take the medicine.

Molasses and sulfur? I'd "tough out" a moderate case death to avoid that stuff.
