There are so many other ways she's proven she can't make good decisions, show good moral values, or be trusted with the duty of governing our society, I can't even get excited about this. Of course she's against guns (but don't worry, she has a license). Thank you for writing to me. As a member of both the U.S. Conference of Mayors and
Mayors Against Illegal Guns, I support stronger gun laws in America. Although I do not agree
with all of the Mayors Against Illegal Guns Coalition concerns, I do agree with the group’s
basic mission and that tougher gun regulation is necessary.
As Mayors, we are duty-bound to do everything in our power to protect our residents,
especially our children, from harm. I support eliminating loopholes that allow private sales
without background checks. I support—to the maximum extent of the law—punishing
criminals who possess, use, and traffic in illegal guns. I support work to develop and use
technologies that aid in the detection and tracing of illegal guns. And I support holding those
accountable who break the law by knowingly selling guns to straw purchasers.
I do not, however, support restricting the right to continue to hold a legally obtained conceal to
carry license, which I personally have.

Yep, ATF calls them silencers. And I would also add that the Sig Sauer rep at the NRA convention corrected me when I said “suppressor” and told me “you mean our silencers”.alvins wrote:the ATF call them silencers. I call them either silencer or supressor depending on the moment.
