Yeah, it's a real stinker as I really enjoyed the 45/70 artillery. I also have a bunch of 45/70 reloading gear, not to mention about 600 bullets.

Did you have the option to send it to the Remington/Marlin factory in Ilion, New York?

The guy I sent it to is the official southeast warranty repair shop. I did get it back the day before yesterday. No work order info, but I swear it looks like a new bolt is in there. I did cycle two sets of dummy rounds without an issue, so I guess I need to make a range trip and see if it's back to normal. If it takes another dump, I'm going to see about getting a refund from Remlin.
