Will DPS accept proficiency demonstration done prior to attending the class ?

I attended the El Paso class so it doesn't matter to me, but have several instructor friends that haven't been to class yet and wanted to go ahead and get the proficiency done. I emailed DPS to ask this exact same question.

First reply: "You will be requested to demonstrate proficiency with any certified Texas CHL Instructor at a later date. Further instruction regarding proficiency demonstration will be provided during the class".

I thought maybe they didn't understand what I really wanted to know so I emailed again, explaining the situation more clearly and specifically asking if it matters whether the class or proficiency is done first. The reply: "Instructors are required to attend a renewal class prior to demonstrating proficiency."...and in the email they underlined "prior to".

Could just be bureaucratic confusion - there's plenty of that going around when it comes to instructor renewals...

At our Houston class I personally told Sherrie that I had sent in my proficiency CHL 100 prior to class. She said that was fine. We shall see.

Ok so I have to go to Georgetown this Thursday for mine.
Question,, Is there a 30.06 sign?
I hate to park & walk up to a place & then have to go back to the truck to lock it up.

Not when I was there on the 6th. Real nice facility, too. Ample parking.
