Not a lot to the story, if they found the person who dropped it I'm sure they would have mentioned his/her name. Only then could they know if it was a chl holder. Seems like that piece was thrown in just to take a stab. I could see a lady carrying a 22 and dropping it out of her purse without noticing. Still doesn't mean she/he had a chl.

Oh, and what an idiot the target employee was! Wow!

Secure on body carry...it's not rocket science.
Perhaps instead of considering posting 30.06 signs, Target should consider hiring brighter employees.

No, because then they would have to pay min wage or higher. If you hire mentally challenged people, a federal min wage law loophole allows employers to pay just a fraction of min wage.

For example, goodwill pays some of their employees as little as 22 cents per hour: http://thinkprogress.org/economy/2013/0 ... -per-hour/

Ever wondered why they always get your order wrong at mickdowell's?
Ever wondered why you witnessed the janitor at your office use the same rag to clean the toilet and the coffee maker?
Ever wondered why some restaurants make you order by number instead of the name of the dish? Ever noticed how the numbers never get too big? For example, it's A1 to A10, then it's B1 through B10, etc.
