My dad and him were coworkers at McKinney PD when I was growing up.
Call up his office, leave him a message or email him, and Im sure he'll get to you.
Interesting did not know this! He's already got my c&r info on file....so i suppose once nfa trusts start to require signature i'll check in with him.

Why not get a trust (I know it might be going away soon) and bypass the need all together? Plus, you can transfer the devices fairly easily to next of kin in case of necessity.

Well thanks to all the comments against it the rule change for CLEO sign off on Trusts has been delayed at least for another year.

See the link I posted below. If you have a Trust and use the new E-form process the wait times are down to about 4 months right now. A friend that I work with just got a Form 1 SBR) and Form 4(Suppressor) approved right around 4 months. At least for now a Trust still seems to be the way to go. You can't file with the E-Form unless you have a Trust. The paper route is still taking about a year according to my dealer (Scott at Silenced America). I will be submitting a Form 1 for a SBR as soon as I can afford a lower and the $200 bucks to register it.

That is OUTSTANDING news! I cannot wait to receive my response from the ATF (I didn't use any vulgarity, I don't think lol).

Just efiled and paid the $200 tax for my form 1 on my SBR yesterday with a trust. Now I just have to wait for it to either be approved or disapproved.
