in every situation were i have been pulled over since i got my CHL over 3 years ago, Presenting the CHL has completely changed the demeaner(sp?) on the situation.
My vehicle and I fit well into the criteria to be pulled over for the smallest of suspion and reason. Its almost a common routine. But the CHL has made the mood of the situation go from possible bad guy to wow, this is a good guy???
Its kinda funny to watch the change.

Don't feel bad. I forget which way to turn the EZ tag when using the toll road. I recently received a nice little letter from the Harris Co. Toll Road Authority. It even had a nice shot of my rear (bumper).txinvestigator wrote: (OK, OK, Occasionally I can't read my inspection sticker)

I have actually done that too. Cept it was my wife that noticed so I get the repeat razzing for it every year when the inspection comes due. Sounds like you got lucky.txinvestigator wrote:I look at it again (thru the glass, backwards) and said, "doesn't it expire this month?" She said, "no, that is a 2 and not a 5."![]()

Must've been the complete copy of the penal code laying on the dashboard obstructing your vision.txinvestigator wrote:I was driving with my daughter to her school for the open house. We turned left and cross in front of a two-man unit; female officer driving and her male partner. As usual I nod and give the thumbs up. She turns around and flips on the lights.

'Course, TXI left something off which, I think, is the real reason he convinced the officer it was an honest mistake and that she let him go with a "please take care of it":
"Are you armed, sir."
"Yes, I am. Center console."
"Is it loaded?"
"Yes; .42 ACP hollow points..."

I'm sitting back here, knowing there is absolutely nothing I can annoying-ly add to this discussion but:
"Txi", you should have taken the BLUE pill...
Now y'all leave "Txi" alone now...He was honest enough to come in here and tell us of this encounter, knowing he was going to hear about it from us from here to Christmas...
At least he wasn't dissarmed, or a vehicle search wasn't requested...
I think this was a positive encounter...
Sorry...Couldn't resist...
But then again on my next traffic stop, I am sure to get the Nth degree...
And deservedly so...

Do you maybe mean Spring Creek? I can't recall a Spring Valley exit being in Plano, but there is one in Richardson, maybe more dyslexia creeping into the forum?BrassMonkey wrote:Get off at Spring Valley and do more then 40 in front of the piano store just over the hill Southbound, motor units lying in wait.
