If its a Sunday, and on the 2nd or 9th, I would try to show up. Saturday is out, and out of town the two following weekends.

Might even talk the wife into coming.

To be perfectly honest, that's what really happens when we get together. We do follow the pattern of the game, but it's truly all about having fun, making some smoke, & learning to shoot better.

We've had people out there that have never busted a clay before and others that know the game pretty well. None of us are what anyone would call good. AndyC is the best shot among us. He does a lot of teaching and has the patience of Job with all of us.

If anyone envisioned some kind of formal competition, you're way off the mark. This is a fun time!
 What? Then why do we keep score? :biggrinjester:

Just kidding. We do keep score, but it's mostly meaningless and just something to laugh about later at lunch. Last time, those that could stick around for lunch, went over to Posados afterward. Too me, so far, any of the shotgun sports are a little like golf. I've had great rounds of golf and continued to play sporadically for years trying to repeat, but that great round never really re-materialized. However, I am better at shooting than golf, which helps to make it much more fun.

I'll second or third or fourth that Andy is a great instructor.

Sunday's will not be doable for me at all because my daughter's softball season will have started by then and the games are always on Sundays and I'm the coach.

Looking at my schedule and some of the dis-qualifiers here, I'm wondering what everyone would think about pushing it back to April 5? Based on my own schedule I was going to suggest March 22, but would really like to be able for Crossfire and El Chupo to make it.

March 22 or April 5 both work well for me.

So that you can lord it over the rest of us, and look good in front of your daughter.

Pawpaw, I teach my kids, guns are NOT toys. Old enough, they are taught to be shooters. I discourage toys like Nerf guns, etc....

Good for you! As in all things, we are all entitled to our own opinions, especially where our children are concerned. :tiphat:

BTW, that is a picture off the internet, not any of my kids or grandkids.
