Why is that? my girlfriend is about to get a tattoo with white ink.
I like Tass' new ink but once you go Black...

It's a horrible idea to get a tattoo in full white. Not only does it look bad (in my opinion, of course), it turns yellow after a year or so, and just looks worse. You could just burn yourself and make a scar that will look similar

White as an accent color is a different story.
Its Tass' body and its a cool tat. I think laser pointers on ARs are pointless but people still get them because they like it.

Tass,
I think it looks great, i have some white in one of my tats, 13 years later i still have a little left. I love the concept of making it look like a scar. I may have to copy that one if you don't mind.

If the color choice of white ultimately turns yellow (which might look good too...) one can always have another color/or white again - done over the original tattoo.

When's my white gonna turn yellow? Mine is about 5 years old and is fairly well exposed to sun being just above my elbow. It still looks white to me.

No question, some folks don't like tattoos. (Not me - I have one six hour mural on my chest)

Some like them, but have fixed ideas about them.

If you don't care for white or red ink or fill in the blank, you don't have to get one with colors that don't appeal to you.

Art appreciation is subjective...

What white? If there was ever any white in that thing, it's faded to the point of looking like your skin tone.

Are you looking at a black and white screen? It has no doubt faded as all of them do, when exposed to sun. But even without my glasses on I can tell there is white in there. Instead of being a negative nancy, and bringing down the OP on her new tattoo, just bite your tongue and not say anything negative.

How about this...next time I'll request a pre-tattoo authorization. I did this for no one but myself. I'll be sure to remember not to share next time.

I like it. If things keep going the way they are, i'm gonna have to get a similar one.

Don't stop sharing just because someone doesn't like it. Like you said, you did it for no one but yourself. I enjoy seeing different tats, because they mean something to the person who got it and/or there is usually a really good story behind it. All of my tats mean something to me that if you don't know the story behind it, just looks like any other. And by the way, I really like yours. :thumbs2:

Because this is a forum, and from someone who has tattoos, especially a large scale B&G tattoo with many white accents, I think I have some room to talk. Any reputable artist would tell you the possible issues of a white only tattoo.

You have tattoos so you are automatically an aficionado? You have guns? Are you being subpoenaed into court to testify as an expert witness? You have done nothing but take a proverbial "duece" on her new tattoo and it is has been severely unwarranted. The mere fact that this is an open forum does not make it ok. You've been rude and she has taken the high road and let it be. You don't like HER tattoo, cool, it's hers. It doesn't make it "horrible", simply because you don't agree.

Please do quote me on where I ever specifically attacked the OP's tattoo. Do what you please with your body. I was replying to someone who asked about my first response.

Get off your machismo high horse and be open to hearing things.
