Agreed, likely the best of the breed. But quite hard to find. I have been using it for years, but have never seen the "short barrel" 38+P stuff in 50-round boxes. Got lucky at last Market Hall gun show and bought the only 20 round box of it I could locate in in the whole place.

53921 is the P/N for the 50-round box, 23921 is the 20-round. A search for "speer 23921" shows a couple websites with the 20-round boxes in stock.

It's pricey no doubt but check out Wilson Combat ammo. They have loadings custom formulated to specific barrel lengths.

ETA: I just looked and all their loadings are for 4.25" barrels in .38SPL currently.
