WTC just recently changed some of the roll-up/down rules and took slots away from some 70.3 events, but since it was the WCs then I would hope she received a slot.Jumping Frog wrote:It should. Every IRONMAN event has at least one qualifying slot per age group. As the age group winner, she would have a slot if she claimed her slot in-person at IRONMAN World Championship Slot Allocation and Rolldown Ceremony.jamminbutter wrote:Did it get her a Kona spot for 2015?

Sorry to hear that. Goes without saying a hunt is more about the camaraderie and companionship than the shooting, at least you're were even on the shot to bird ratio. I know time spent with your dad doing what you enjoy is to be cherished.AndyC wrote:A wash-out; we ended up in a place that was full of fire-ants, and there were almost zero birds; very very hot and zero shade, so I rigged up a green 8x10 tarp I keep in my pack.puma guy wrote:That's an outstanding achievement. I know you and your family must be proud. How was your hunt with your Dad?
I finally scared up a lone dove around 4.30 and took it at about 25 yards or so flying at right angles with my 410 - that was all we got.
