I sent the PPKs in for the recall modification. Walther has a varied past fro manufacturers ( i won't go into detail) and the ones made by S&W have a hammer block issue. I went through nS&W with an email attempt for shipping instructions w/o success. I called and they said wait a few days and then call and set up that way. I went on the Walther forum and was give some information that Walther (Umarex) does the repairs. I called on Nov 6 and almost before I hung up had a FedEx shipping label in my email inbox. Sent it in the next day Nov 7, Walther received it Nov 11 and I got a knock on the door yesterday and the FedEx man handed me a box with my repaired PPK/s. Super fast and the service rep I spoke with at Walther was very helpful. So nice to know there's still a company that has that kind of service and turnaround. I have too much going on with Thanksgiving and deer season and family coming in, but as soon as I can it's back to the range to feed it some HP ammo.
