I do have a flag reserved for Memorial day and another for the 4th of July.

As its raining here today, I had to build a temporary flag pole in the door of my garage to fly the colors.

To all that are serving and to those that have served or will serve in the future, THANK YOU. You will not be forgotten by this family.

We proudly flew our flag today.

My prayers are also with those veterans who are no longer with us and my thanks to those who are. Ranger +P+, get home soon.

We visited my dad's grave today and placed flowers. The little flag was already there.

As the day comes to a close, my dad and brother sent a video to me via email of the flag raising and lowering that was held today, I am sad I missed it--my brother added a gun salute this year with his M-14--very nice touch.

To all of you who posted on this thread--Thanks--As long as we keep that torch lit, folks will never forget.
