I sounds like they liked the 10mm, but the gun/grip was too big for many of their hands. Same for the .45. Don't anyone tell them about the Glock-21SF. Shhhh

The G21SF is a full size service pistol. Not exactly kind for small hands. I don't really buy the "small hands" portion of the argument myself. The 1911 has the ability to have one of the slimmest grips I've ever personally handled. Regardless of caliber they choose, they still don't train enough.

My wife has very small hands and can handle my 1911 with ease. She loves to shoot it but hates my Glock.

The G21SF grip is not quite full size like the G21. It's closer to the G17 or G22 in overall circumference. I've seen it side by side with the 21 and the difference is close to a centimeter from front to back of the grip. They feel significantly different to my, not large, hands. If there are some people that do not notice or think there is a difference between the two that's good for me because fewer people will buy anything in the .45 platform since they also probably think the 1911 is also too big for their hands that too will leave more .45 ammo for me.

If you don't get a good solid hit to the thoracic or to the CNS you are just poking holes in your target and probably aggravating him or her.

I haven't heard of many true "one shot stops" short of the Iraqi Republican Guardsman that was shot with the 120mm main gun of an Abrams tank during the battle of 73 Easting during Desert Storm. The tank commander said the guy just vaporized. :eek6
On the face of it this would appear to be absolute proof that, when it comes to caliber, bigger is better. Vaporization always achieves an instant stop. :fire

The gen 4 glock 20 seems more like my brothers gen 3 glock 17 then my glock 20sf. Gen4 has a nice grip in 20 or 21.

My brother, a Marine, saw one shot fired during his stint in Desert Storm. They had an Iraqi piece of armour (personel carrier, not tank) in front of them. The commander wouldn't surrender after repeated attempts at civility on the part of said Marines. The US commander asked their "sniper" (apologies for not knowing the correct military refrence) to send one of the new, at the time, Barret BMG welcome gifts to the commander. After said commander landed back on earth in several pieces, the rest of the clan came pouring out to surrender. I don't know how you do the Wally Walk with an Abrams but if bigger isn't better, it can be pretty nice.

When you absolutely positively need the target erased by gunfire :)

Since that is a transport plane, the only bombs I have seen them drop is one of those Fuel Air Explosive bombs. I think it was the MOAB or something.

Well, you're right, in a way, but you're really wrong. ;-)

That's not a C-130 transport... That's an AC-130 gunship. See those things sticking out of the left side of the plane, forward of the inboard engine? :tiphat:

I'm sure someone is getting something or some kind of preferential treatment for the fbi to make the switch.
There may be a difference how they penetrate sheet metal and windshields

Still not going to argue over which caliber is best.

And then some. Depending on which model AC-130 Gunship you're talking about.

AC-130 Spectre Armament:
2 x 20mm cannons (multi barrel miniguns)
1 x 40mm cannon
1 x 105mm cannon

AC-130 Spooky Armament:
1 x 25mm cannon (multi barrel minigun)
1 x 40mm cannon
1 x 105mm cannon
