Yes.. it just depends if it is compressible, partially compressible of non-compressible. With higher up femoral wound (like in the groin) you do not have an option for a TQ and therefore need direct pressure and hemostatic agents speed up the process. This gel is even marketed for non-compressible wounds, like abdominal (liver, etc) wounds..

When it actually becomes available, I'm going to ask my vet to order me some.

For my dogs, of course.
