Thought that the representative posing questions on this one was about to take offense to that.

It sounds like they are going to break for lunch. They made it through the local, consent calendar and have adjourned until 2:45 hopefully they will work the supplemental calendar when they get back and/or pick up HB910

Lawmakers appear unmoved by police officers’ fierce opposition to #opencarry changes #HB910 @marissambarnett http://share.d-news.co/UiGr1cF" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Still, Phillips, who sponsored the bill in the House, said the changes would not make a huge difference in the enforcement of open carry.

He compared it to driving a car, arguing that police officers cannot stop a driver to simply check if they have a driver’s license. And because open carry would be lawful, officers should not have the ability to stop a person openly carrying.

“If we take the amendment off, I don’t think it’s going to change the law. But with that on there it gives clear direction to law enforcement of what’s allowed,” he said.

SB 19 Ethics bill is back for third reading. If I'm reading the supplemental calendar right, SB 11 is two away.

Yes but can the opposition still use stall tactics? If so even two bills will take forever...

SB 19 and 206 are the same two bills that were just before SB11 last night. SB 19 is ethics so this could definitely take a while.
