I often wonder how different things would be if Colin Powell had been elected president instead of the current incumbent.

IMO, he would have made a great POTUS.

I'll take Condi Rice over CP any day.

I wish she'd run for 2016. Possibly the only person with the gravitas to cut through all the spin and divide political manure and keep folks (including the media) focused on the real issues.

 Well that was certainly an eye opener jmra! Thanks for taking the time to post those links. I totally retract my statement. I wonder if he's always held those views, or did he do a 180 and go radical liberal?

I have wondered the same.

Maybe his conservative position served him well in the military and his liberal position in politics.

I think you're probably right Bill. IIRC he was booed at the republican national convention in the late 90s when some of his views came out in his speech. I could be wrong though.

I'd vote for her in a heartbeat.

Oh, wait - I can't. Not a citizen yet; I really need to work on that and save up the $700.
Sure you can Andy, look at all the non-citizens who vote in every election...sometimes twice. :smilelol5:

I understand what you are trying to say but it should be As long as mankind exists, some form of discrimination will exist...o.k. fatty?

VOR,

I stand corrected.

Sigh.

I don't get to have any fun.

I'm gonna go live in a cave and eat worms.

As long as we have a self-confessed "C student" in the top office we are all along for the ride terrible as it may be.
