I thought the sd9ve was a glock clone so much that smith had to pay glock royalties.

Lots of clones fall short of the real thing.Kkpsiknl wrote:I thought the sd9ve was a glock clone so much that smith had to pay glock royalties.
You are correct.carlson1 wrote:Correct me if I am wrong, but I was under the impression that the SW9VE was not a high quality handgun.
Man I bought it just really wanting a pistol and it was in my price range . Not really knowing anything about pistols. That was my mistake but now that I've shooting I do like it. It is a lower end gun and the trigger was like 8lbs or something like that but I bought a new spring for the trigger and put it in and can really tell a difference with it. Used it as a cc and its kinda bulky but wasn't that bad. I did get a m&p sheild and its my every day cc gun. I love it. My dad got the m&p pro series. And its a sweet gun and wished I had it but I don't have that kinda denaro right now haha. I really want a better quality gun and I know glock is top of the line. Just gotta get my hands on one.RPBrown wrote:No, very inexpensive as far as handguns go, heavy trigger pull but from what I've seen, not too bad.
