I thought the sd9ve was a glock clone so much that smith had to pay glock royalties.

Lots of clones fall short of the real thing.

not even a comparison. that gritty trigger on the 9VE is much better than the sigma. M&P's are more up to par with the block, i mean glock. (auto correct). i have both glock 17 and MP9. it all depends on what side of the bed i wake up.

You are correct.
Those are the econo versions.

Man I bought it just really wanting a pistol and it was in my price range . Not really knowing anything about pistols. That was my mistake but now that I've shooting I do like it. It is a lower end gun and the trigger was like 8lbs or something like that but I bought a new spring for the trigger and put it in and can really tell a difference with it. Used it as a cc and its kinda bulky but wasn't that bad. I did get a m&p sheild and its my every day cc gun. I love it. My dad got the m&p pro series. And its a sweet gun and wished I had it but I don't have that kinda denaro right now haha. I really want a better quality gun and I know glock is top of the line. Just gotta get my hands on one.

If you are going to be doing competitions with this thing... then I recommend the Glock 34. It is the long slide competition version with lighter trigger, extended mag release and slide stop, and with adjustable sights (which you will want to change out for something else anyhow).

A Glock 19 is a near perfect carry gun... not the best option for competition. I conceal a full size Glock 17 every day in slacks and a polo shirt.

The glock 19 is a much better choice than the sw9ve. If you choose the go with s&w, go with the m&p series. M&Ps are better quality than sw9s.
