The text of the agreement is 159 pages, so I guess I missed the part about defending their sites.
Would somebody quote that for me, please ?

It's a terrible deal, and the whole process just makes me ill. Those people are our sworn enemies,
and the enemies of peace in the region and the world. We'd be better off without them.

There are side agreements that not even those in Congress are being allowed to see. My understanding is that defending their sites is part of a side agreement. Since the information is supposedly that leaked from a secret side agreement there is no way of knowing whether or not it's true, but then, given this administration, it isn't at all implausible.
