I appreciate that. Obviously just a little offended at first that i might have implied it was a good thing. No harm no foul. Tragedy all the way around. I was in their gunsmith shop (Advacned Gunworks) today talking to those guys...they are shocked as all hell about this whole thing. They seemed in shock, but man, they have a heck of a shop.

The news lately leaves us wondering. Cops killing their girlfriends, and this. sometimes it's not so clear who is the good guy and who is the bad guy. One thing that is very clear is that, this is a tragedy felt by a great many people. The world today is not so black and white as it used to be.

Uh, sorry, disagree. No claim of self-defense has been made, it's pretty clear from the police statements that they believe Mark killed David. Bad guy/good guy is clear here in my mind. There is no justification. The world IS black and white. There is evil (Black) and there are those who will resist evil (White).
But you are right, it is a tragedy - especially for the family.

James

I was hoping you (James/extremist) would interject. You've been the source of info in regards to the Wikkid Awesome gunrange they were building.
do you know about the plans for the range? seems like a lot of money to have it just washed away.

Other than Jesus Christ, there are no "white" people. All of us sin and have sinned so we all are shades of gray, some black, some very light gray but all gray.
BTW this situation may not be a black and white as it seems. Is it possible for example that Mark Hornish was actually defending himself? Doesn't seem likely but who knows.

Little local newspaper (The News Connection) hit the mailbox today. Article by Stephen Webster said that, contrary to prior reports, David died from two gunshot wounds (also one to neck). Remains transported to Picha Funeral Home in Lake Belton, Wisconsin. No memorial services announced for Denton County.
