My dad was a veterinarian and a religious man. He always prayed before he spayed.MONGOOSE wrote:I believe they all can be charged but you can't just pray and spay back.....might be wrong .

Teens?
If you're shooting at me, with the potential of killing me, my loved ones, my neighbors, I'm supposed to be swayed to not return fire because you're a teenager and that confers immunity?
Puh-leeze.

Re: Homeowner returns fire at teens in car
If they are no longer posing a threat (fleeing) you better not fire. If they still pose a threat....fire away.....I don't care what age they are
Re: Homeowner returns fire at teens in car
Obviously it is situation dependent, but if they are fleeing and shooting they still pose a threat. In that case I will still shoot. Also, I can't imagine I would convict a guy, if I were to be on a jury, if he shot someone who had just tried to shoot him. Honestly I wouldn't care if they were fleeing after the fact.MONGOOSE wrote:If they are no longer posing a threat (fleeing) you better not fire. Um, yes, you can. Read Chapter 9 of the Penal Code.MONGOOSE wrote:Your.not much good to your family when you are in jail. You can't soot a person in the back here unless you are a COP
Re: Homeowner returns fire at teens in car
He wasn't trying to shoot anyone in the back. He was returning fire.MONGOOSE wrote:Your.not much good to your family when you are in jail. You can't soot a person in the back here unless you are a COP
You seem to to be doing everything you can to put some kind of guilt on the homeowner. So far you've accused him of shooting at fleeing suspects, spraying and praying and now shooting people in the back. Is there something you'd like to share with the group?
