WildBill, I think you are right that it is a prop gun. If it was a real gun it looks like the bullet would have to go off inside the magazine tube, which would ruin your day.

My first thought was maybe from Fantasy Island! I wasn't far from being correct. I was intrigued by the looks of that rifle and did some digging and finally found it. It's from Adios Sabata and though it's a harmonica gun per the Wiki page it's most likely a prop creation since there are no lever action harmonica guns.

It would be interesting to see it in action. The harmonica magazine appears to be parallel solid tubes. I can't see how the round would be pushed forward into the chamber to be fired unless they are discharged from the magazine but there's no apparent way to align, them much less achieve proper seal.
