The law only requires that a CHL/LTC holder show both their ID and CHL/LTC if they are carrying their handgun. It does not require them to declare whether or not they have a handgun and since many show both IDs regardless of whether they are carrying or not, showing both does not imply the presence of a handgun.Breny414 wrote:As the othe posters have said, under the MPA you are not required to declare that you have a weapon when stopped if you are not a CHL holder.
