I have the P30 and was considering the P30L for Personal protection matches at DPC.

Gun paid off... Now I'm anxiously awaiting for it to come in. I hate that my local shop changed their policy and won't order guns until they are paid off if they are a special/specific order - they use to put them on order once you paid down about 50%. I would like to be able to go shoot this weekend (there is a small chance it'll be here by Friday)... But its looking more likely that it will be next week before it comes in.

Man is she a beauty... the trigger on this gun is soooo smooth. Can't wait for the range this weekend. Wish there was a range close enough to work to go during lunch...

Range Report:

Took the gun out to the range this weekend. It was amazing. Probably the best striker fired pistol I've shot to date. Most of the guns I've shot up till this point has had a break in period. Esp when it comes to the trigger. My wife's VP9 wasn't this smooth until we had about 400-500 rounds through it. If the trigger is this smooth out of the box, I can't wait till I've gotten another 200-300 rounds through it.
