The 22TCM is also a real hoot to shoot! In fact, I think it is the most fun pistol cartridge that I've ever shot.

Any STI dealers you recommend?

I would probably own that gun already if it wasn't for the giant name rollmarked on the other side.
I've written STI about having them make me one without that mark, but they declined.

The fit and function is absolutely great, couldn't ask for better. Trigger is truly excellent. The finish is Parkerized, which is not my favorite finish for a handgun but certainly of high enough quality. I've put a few hundred 22TCM through it and probably 1500 9mm. Never an issue. The grips are VZ and really allow good grip and control. Mine is a single stack model and uses a ten round magazine (all of mine are RIA or aftermarket 38 Super). Comes with high visibility front sight and a mag well. For $625, I couldn't say no. Great shooter!

yes they do like to have a giant billboard on the side of their pistols, id prefer something more lowkey myself.

I have an STI Shadow in 9mm and my wife has a Springfield EMP in 9mm. Both are great shooters. Both are smaller than what the OP is looking for and designed more for CC. I did lose a tritium capsule on the front night sight of the STI but I brought it over to STI in Georgetown, TX and they replaced the entire front sight, no questions asked, while i waited. Great customer service.

I also have a Kimber Raptor II but it is in 45. It is also a great shooter. I lean more towards the 9mm because it is part of my bug out/in plan. Which means I keep 9mm in bulk at the house and maintain I high level of inventory.

You can't go wrong with a 1911 RIA 9mm, I've had a couple and they are awesome guns. I currently have a .45 RIA 1911 it's a little more kick but just as accurate.

Oh boy, that was the model that caught my eye on their site.

This changes everything. How many rounds are the mags? I feel like I would cry if I scratched that.

EDIT: Looks like 7, I think I want something with a full size frame 9 round, 10 with a bumper/extended mag. That is beautiful though and will let you know if my desires change.

Just Armcor so far and a lot of people are reloading it using either purchased brass or cut down .223 casings. Best price I have found is $0.37 per round delivered to home address.

Has anyone considered the new Colt 9mm competition pistol? MSRP of $899.00 sounds pretty reasonable.
