Because the police are experts at identifying marijuana, right?

I was being sarcastic. That is the line that is used when you turn down a search request when LEO do not have PC.
It is unfortunate that that line is said seriously by so many Americans now that it is difficult to tell who is using it sarcastically.

Perhaps we need to color code sarcasm so we can tell for sure?
What color for sarcasm?

I got the sarcasm :thumbs2:

I'm going to do what I want just like I did last year and still wonder if one day I get a visit from the man.

I have 17 acres and basically no neighbors, if I wanted to do something illegal, it wouldn't be 25 yards from my house.

That is exactly what I want to avoid. I have a 2 year old and a prego wife if it were just me, I might have a different attitude.

I'm not sure if your post was made in jest, but the idea that you need to be confrontational with the police, to the point of using deadly force to prevent them from looking into a potential, criminal activity, warranted or not, seems a little too over the top.
This is what I was thinking.

Just a side note, during my time as a LEO, most illegal growing operations were found not through heat signatures, but through a sudden increase in electrical usage. When the electric company came out to investigate(usually to see if another home had been put on the same meter), the perpetrator was discovered.

I wonder if the cost/benefit ratio of having an alternate power source would be financially feasible from a profitability standpoint? Cost of fuel and size of generator needed?

I normally suggest purple, but if you want to be REALLY sarcastic, then fuchsia.

I love me some fried okra, but it has to be done right so it doesn't "slime" ya.

Pickled okra is good too. All my grandkids know it as "fuzzy pickles". :biggrinjester:
