What you're seeing is all you're going to see until your status changes. As for getting through on the phone, you just have to keep trying. I find 10:30-11 is a good window to try. Then below that the only selection is Apply for instructor Certification. There is no selection for checking status. How are you checking status online? I filed all my paperwork online via the website.
I've also tried calling, but always get a recording stating that "due to high call volume, our agents are unavailable to assist you at this time". I've tried calling all hours of the day.
I also emailed a week ago inquiring, with no reply.
By law they are required to give an answer in 60 days unless there is a problem and need more info. If they posted a statement about extending that they would be admitting they are breaking the law.Kunk35 wrote:...At least we aren't alone in this. They really should update their website. It would save them a lot of headache I would think. All they would need is an entry on the FAQ stating that lead times have been extended due to overwhelming permit submissions. Oh wait, I forgot. It's the government.

congrats Kory!Kory, How and where did you go to see that your status has changed. I am in the same situation you are in. ltc Newbie - did you receive your plastic? We submitted the same day, and I still have no progress. 71 days. I finally got through to them today by phone, and got the usual "Give it another 30 days and call back routine". Geesh. wrote my state reps via email.
