cmgee67 wrote:The G19 is a great fun and shoots well no upgraded my sights to some Dawson precision sights. Blacked out rear and fiber optic front cuz I hate stock Glock sights. But other than the sights good gun. If I was told to shoot I million rounds I'll grab the Glock anyday cuz it would most likely do it.
My G19 gen 4 is my go to 100% of the time.
Absolutely a great EDC,, now.., lol! Just got my plastic today.

I carry my Glock 19 everyday at work because it's light and if I mess it up in anyway it's not gonna hurt my feelings like it would if something happened to my 1911 lol. But I do carry my 1911 too IWB and it
Conceals really well! I like being able to alternate

Randy is a great guy, easy to deal with, and he is fast. His pricing is great, and in all honesty he could charge significantly more and I would pay it for the quality of his work and his quick turnaround. Get the snap under rig with matching mag carrier. I love mine! Very comfortable, easy to put on/off, easily concealable, even in shorts and a t-shirt, and nice enough to show off and OC if you want.
BTW, that is my first 1911. Springfield Loaded Champion in stainless. I bought it on TGT, and then sent it Springfield Armory's Custom Shop to have the bobtail done, MSH checkered, and the Trijicon HD sights put on. Slapped a set of VZ thin grips on it and it is perfect. I still love and carry my Glocks, but my 1911 is an amazing pistol that has a regular place in my carry rotation.

just fired my first 5 inch 1911 9mm yesterday, man o man what a blast. After putting a few rounds through the .45, you can man handle the 9 easily. What a fun firearm to shoot.
My SW 1911 PC is off to a gunsmith today however, extractor issues.

Yup, swapping to 1911 has not been an inexpensive or frustration free road. But i have faith that when i get these running right, it will be worth it. Only the Sig p938 and the RIA 9mm have ran problem free.
Every time I take these to the range, its a blast. Im about 3600 into 4 new pistols since January, and sold all of my polymers. If the SW cant get worked out or I experience other issues, I may look into getting another polymer in the box.. maybe a Sig p2022, mk25, or an HK p30/vp9.

My glocks and bought the ruger SR1911. I love this pistol it is fantastic. Trigger is amazing shoots great and first time out at forty yards I was nailing the 8 inch steel plate. The novaks sights that it comes with are outstanding. Some g about a 1911 makes you smile and feel like you can take on the world! I am proud to own one!
I hear ya loud and clear my friend. This is what took the place of my G27 EDC...

Congrats! I am on the opposite side of this. I am looking to purchase my first plastic gun. Always had the real deal and now I want to try one of these new fangled plastic gizmos everyone has been raving about.
