I'm going to do MY part to bring the numbers closer together.

As soon as the Kimber Micro Carry in 9mm hits the gun stores, I intend to go and get one (or two).

So....take THAT Commiefornia! :coolgleamA:

I'm doing my part Charles. Picked up another gun last Saturday at the Conroe gun show. Heritage single action 22 six shooter, for the snakes around the property!

If us folks living in Texas aren't buying that many guns, it's because we already have more than we need.

Yeah, but I'd bet 20% of "us folks living in Texas" are folks that used to live in California. Or so it seems. :???:

A 'native Texan' is becoming an endangered species.

I'll watch my back and help inflate Texas's number.

Not in California. Of course there are so few permits that it would be less than a drop in the bucket anyway.

In California, you go through the whole ten day DROS, you must have a valid current Handgun Safety certificate, etc., CCW permit or no.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

You just hang out with the wrong crowd.

I'm a native Texan.
My daughter is a native Texan.
All 5 of my grandchildren and one great granddaughter are native Texans.
One of my granddaughters married a native Texan.
in a few months, they'll be raising a native Texan.

Endangered species? Not around here!

Nowhere in my post did I mention "Native Texans." Just so happens I'm a native Californian. Haven't lived there since 1968.

I'm in! My second grandson is due in the next two weeks and I just ordered a 22 Savage for him. Unfortunately, my dad's gun shop is in Tennessee and it wont count for Texas...
