I agree, but there are some shenanigans that go on with some of the stuff. For example if you have traffic warrants in two (or more) cities. You serve the time in one city, they hold you an additional 24 hours (after a judge has said you are done) to get a response from the second city (or third or fourth, etc). If the second city says they want to come get you, the first city holds you for an additional 24 hours (48 in total). That 2 days doesn't count when you sit out time in the second city. I don't have a problem with them holding someone for another city.
