Is the Perot museum in that situation? I'm pretty sure that it is city of Dallas land but I wasn't sure if the building itself is owned by the city. The 30.06 sign there has been up and down. I think it is up again now.
I don't know about the Perot museum, but a lot of museums and zoos are in this exact situation. Consider all of the places where the zoo is in a city park but is actually leased as land to a non-profit society (San Antonio is the one I am most familiar with). That is why I see this as a very important precedent setting case.
