Might even be as simple as an option in the app settings that provides a button to ignore all future warnings for that entity when the proximity warning pops up.
This is already available on both the Android and iPhone apps!
I didn't "process" his issue when I was reading it earlier today, had someone come in my office and take away my attention while I was reading

This is absolutely what he should do is disable notifications for that one entry.
TAM, if you can't find the option, I'll have Arthur come in here and give you a how-to (or perhaps someone else here can). I don't have an iPhone to be able to walk you through it

Go into the details page of a specific entry. Here is an image of the entry details for Southwest Research Institute. Click on the bell at the top right of the entry page and an option will pop up asking if you want to turn off notifications for this entry.

And on Android, go to the specific entry you want to disabled. Then tap in the vertical dots on the upper right hand corner. Then select "Disable Alert".

Thanks! I wasn't aware that the feature was available. I just went and turned off the alerts for my local Minyards market, my church, and the local Cinemark theater.

I just verified my settings, and I think this is much better way to do this. Before, I had to enter 4 different cities just to cover my county.
However, I also vote for the multiple zip codes. I have family in Galveston and spend quite a bit of time there, so it would be nice to have that covered as well.

Russell wrote:Hi all,
I enabled a new feature today on Texas3006.com. The watch list cities have been replaced with a zip code and radius setting that everybody can set up in their "My Panel". You can now be notified of new entries within a range of a zip code that you define as opposed to being limited to 5 cities.
If you had configured your watch list, I have defaulted you to a 50 mile radius within the zip code for the first city you had defined. If the city was misnamed in some way, that has been ignored and your watch list settings removed. Didn't do this to be mean, there are over 6000 people using the watch list feature, about 400 had something wrong with the way it was configured. Can't spend time fixing 400 people individually!
I'd recommend visiting your watch list settings and verifying they are set how you want them to be.
Thanks all, and as always let me know if you see any issues!
This application has been a godsend. Thank you, sir.

I wonder if you could keep the current new setup with a radius and also have the ability to choose up to five zip codes. Also, the jump from 10-50 miles is a big jump. Could there be an intermediate distance of 20 or 25 miles?
I understand this is a new feature, so maybe we can just wait and see what other users think and if they have similar concerns or recommendations.
Something to keep in mind (that I have just now put as a note in the My Panel page), is the distance starts from the center of the zip code area. Hence why I did 10 (for tiny zip codes) and then 50, as the thought behind that was it would incorporate communities outside of a major zip code at that point.
I'm not super well versed in the typical zip code "size".
Given that the distances starts from the center of the zip code, would a distance in between 10 and 50 still be helpful?
I left mine set at 50 miles for now and have been getting all kinds of notifications for all kinds of areas I don't go anywhere near. I think I'll change it to 10 and see how that goes. It was funny. At first I thought there was a rash of signs going up before remembering about the feature change. I'll still wait and see what others think about an intermediate distance between 10-50 and also see how 10 works for a couple weeks. I think I'll also get that mobile app and check that out.

Thanks. I was getting the same sudden rash of notifications and wondered what particular action by antis had prompted it.
