Has anyone taken the SIG p320 for a spin?

I read the MA compliant version will have the manual safety I want. Does anyone know what else if anything might be different on it?

I don't have any experience with them but I have been looking at the Beretta Px4 Storm, compact, the slide release is larger than most, which should provide more leverage, and they make one with a 15 round capacity.

Thanks to Jusme, I am hooked on the M&P. I looked at the compact (double stack) and kind of want that as well. I have had my eye on the SR1911 as well. Choices, choices

I own the P320 FDE in Compact. Bought it used off Texas Gun Trader for $500 cash with a Kydex Holster. Its a little bulky for my taste and would probably carry in the winter time with heavier clothing but all around nice gun to shoot. If you get a chance, definitely try it at the range.

The Px4 Storm also has me highly interested. It's fully ambidextrous; SA/DA(a feature I love); interchangeable grip sizes; mag capacity, & it comes in either 9mm or .40 S&W. Good choice!

Kinda goes back to the "you can never have too many" argument.

Hickock 45 did a review of Px4 Storm, but his had 17 round capacity, Beretta only lists 15.

Edit to add, he mentions the oversize slide release and he doesn't like it, but he has very large hands and long thumbs.

That is probably what I will end up doing lol. By the time I am able to get all 3 there will be more added to the never ending list. My main concern is getting a firearm my wife can handle.

She liked a S & W #637 38 Special (revolver) with the +p frame it had a laser built into the grip. Although I did not like the revolver aspect she really liked the feel of it and I liked that it could carry the +P ammo.

you really can't beat a Sig.

I carry the Sig P239. I think it qualifies as compact, but in this day and age, probably is more of a mid-size. It has the same trigger and decocker as the standard P226. The only negatives you'll find on this gun are 1) 8+1 rds of single stacked 9mm capacity, and 2) weighs 2 pounds. I can carry it easily all day concealed with no issue. Yesterday I carried all day, tucked under my dress shirt, and I prefer dress shirts that aren't baggy at the waist. I have problems with the slide stop release on some of my other pistols, but not on this one.

Surely you've seen the Sig M11-A1 lineup. It's just a little bit bigger than the P239 and has a double stack mag. A thing of beauty.

I tend to take my time between gun purchases, but for a different reason. Because I have to convince my wife to let me buy one and it generally takes 6 months or a year before she will allow it. Otherwise my approach would be to just buy as many different handguns as I can and hopefully at least one or two of them will be the right fit.

I don't really buy purses, jewelry, shoes, clothes....but weaponry and performance car enhancements are needs!
